A superb porcelain Cabinet Plate finely gilded and decorated with birds on a white ground, in a scalloped edge.
Made by Crescent China, George Jones, a maker noted for the delicate quality of its porcelain, the plate dates from c 1925. We have another plate of of similar design as shown; the two would look beautiful displayed together.
The plate is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.
