Dresden Porcelain Cabinet Plate

A cabinet plate  which dates from c1902, made by the highly regarded Dresden factory, Germany.
The plate has a 12 sided curved rim with elaborate piercing. The painted decoration is of the highest quality with alternate floral panels and cartouche applied to the rim. Floral swags trail onto the white central ground with a superb bouquet at the centre. The intense enamel colours are complemented with rich gilding.
The maker’s mark ‘SP Dresden’ is on the reverse.
